How It Works

The Chocolate Shoppe specializes in creating chocolates that are available for sale online or through our local marketplaces. Our award-winning chocolates are created in our dedicated gluten-free facility in Plano, IL, and offered through local delivery or nationwide shipping. We also offer a large variety of other allergy-friendly confections which include dairy free, egg free, peanut free, tree nut free and vegan options made with premium Belgian chocolate.

Our products can also be found at shops and marketplaces throughout the USA (visit the LOCATIONS page for details).

Place your order online by 5 PM (central time) on Saturday (see ordering schedule below). We take orders throughout the entire week until Saturday afternoon, and then prepare everything fresh on Mondays. Orders ship on Tuesday (or Monday during a holiday week). Deliveries are made on Fridays to portions of DeKalb, Kane, Kendall and Lasalle counties in Illinois; a delivery notification reminder will be sent on Thursday night. Pickup may be available in our Plano, IL location at designated times (see schedule below). Please call us at (630) 465-5755 if you need your order sooner and we will try to accommodate your request!

CURRENT ORDERING SCHEDULE

Orders placed online between now and 5 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2024 will be available at the following times:

SHIPPING: Orders will begin shipping on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

DELIVERY: Orders will be delivered on Friday, May 3, 2024 between 9 AM to 12 PM.

PICKUP: Available at our Plano location on Friday, May 3, 2024 between 10 AM to 5 PM.

DELIVERY - delivery is available to all of Kendall county, and portions of DeKalb, Lasalle and Kane counties. If delivery is available to your area, the delivery option will appear for you at checkout with a $15 minimum order:

Delivery is available for $3.50 to the following locations (order must be a minimum of $15 before tax): Aurora (60505 & 60506), Batavia, Big Rock, Bristol, Elburn, Hinckley, Kaneville, Little Rock, Millbrook, Millington, Montgomery, Mooseheart, Newark, North Aurora, Norway, Oswego, Plano, Sandwich, Sheridan, Somonauk, Sugar Grove, and Yorkville. If your zip code is not in our delivery area, please select local pickup or shipping.
You do not need to be home to receive your delivery. Please leave an insulated bag or cooler with several ice packs on your porch so that we can keep your order safe from heat/cold, sunlight, and neighborhood critters that LOVE to eat chocolate!

SHIPPING - if you select shipping for your order, it will ship by Tuesday for arrival to your designated address between Wednesday and Friday via UPS. If shipping to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each address.

PICKUP - pickup is available at our PLANO location ONLY, and is only available on the date(s) listed above. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR ORDERS THAT ARE NOT PICKED UP.
